We create unique, highly interactive and creative programs to promote and anchor organisational change.
Drawing on our diverse backgrounds in education, leadership, psychology, and performance.
Organisations change because their people do. People change when they think it is worthwhile and when they believe they can, and, of course, change is inevitable anyway.
At Changeable, we challenge the status quo, guide people to become more intentional, and help translate high level strategies into tangible actions and behaviours.
- We connect at a personal level
- We hold the mirror up and agitate
- We support, encourage and educate.
- Life is too short to just turn up at work and warm a seat.
- We help people play to their strength, and
- Identify meaning and purpose beyond a pay packet.
- We build strong connections across the board.
- We listen, engage and create outcomes for senior leaders, teams on the ground, and everyone in between.
Importantly, Changeable partners with senior leaders who believe in these principles.
We will translate and make them real for your people.
Sam Crock knows a thing or two about change.
Growing up in a small country town in rural Victoria, Sam was eager to explore the wider world. She left home to study music and education at university, played in a variety of ensembles and developed her exceptional ability to ‘tune in’ and respond to other people’s behaviour.
After a stint as music director, Sam pursued an opportunity to apply her educational talents in the business sphere at the prestigious Melbourne Business School.+ Read more
During her seven years at the MBS, Sam designed and developed executive leadership programs which strengthened links between corporate Australia and the academic sector. Her creativity led to interesting an innovative collaborations including the Bell Shakespeare Company which used Shakespeare’s plays as inspiration for senior leadership.
While at the MBS, Sam focused on teams and groups, and was fortunate to experience London’s renowned Tavistock Institute leadership program. It was here that Sam’s eyes were fully opened to the immense power of groups and the importance of a healthy dynamic team to achieve first-class organisational performance.
Working for the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia and Somersault Consulting gave Sam a solid foundation to utilise her group smarts and coaching skills across a range of industries and organisations.
Changeable Consulting was born through a strong working relationship with long-time collaborator Georgina Banks. The strengths of the two combined and perfected the personal, relationship-focused approach Changeable Consulting is known for today.
Sam’s business acumen, creativity and educational flair make her the ideal person to drive organisational change. Her down-to-earth attitude instantly puts employees at ease, while her practicality and willingness to nudge people out of their comfort zone ensures change is significant and long-lasting.
Sam is also a Director of the Intersticia Foundation, a philanthropic organisation dedicated to supporting new ideas from concept to reality. In her (somewhat limited) free time, you’ll probably find Sam wrangling her two daughters or getting her boots dirty on the sustainable beef farm she manages with her husband at Fish Creek).
Sydney born and bred, Georgina started out as a performer in her twenties; studying acting in New York and working predominantly in Television and Theatre.
Driven by her desire to gain a deeper understanding of what makes people tick, she went on to study applied psychology. Georgina then spent time developing educational workshops for cancer survivors as part of a psychosocial research project at Sydney University.+ Read more
Georgina’s next step was consulting, seeing it as the perfect way to combine her behavioural knowledge and creative side. She spent several years at Primed Consulting in Sydney before moving to Somersault Consulting in Melbourne, where she further refined her unique facilitation and coaching styles and met Sam Crock.
Her acting background lets Georgina build meaningful connections with everyone and adds a performance edge. At the same time, her analytical skills and psychological expertise mean she can translate high-level HR strategies into tailored, practical behaviours that make teams and individuals thrive.
Using a mix of positive psychology, team dynamics, and strengths-based approaches, Georgina helps people develop insight into their behaviours and mindsets, overcome resistance and experience genuine change that sticks.
When she’s not working at Changeable, Georgina likes to write. She has just published her first book, ‘Back to Bangka’ with Penguin Random House – www.georginabanks.com.au.
“It takes experience, intelligence, sensitivity and humour to do this work well, and Georgina and Sam have these in spades. The impacts are real and lasting. More people actively engaged in all aspects of the business, a more productive and creative workplace, happier people, shared responsibility and better decisions.”
“The difference isn’t the content, it is the way they connect with the group”
“The ChangeAble difference is the trust relationship that they build with their clients. Having worked with Sam and Georgina over 10+ years across 3 organisations I know that the leadership development experience will be deep, authentic and relevant to the maturity level of the group. ”
“Our follow-up OCI survey shows a significant shift in “self-actualisation” and “achievement” scores resulting from their work.”
“Theatrical component engages, is an edge and gives individuals confidence they need to realise strengths.”
“They are gutsy and not afraid to nudge employees outside their comfort zones. They ask the hard questions”
